Could be. Probably doesn't help when you have to write around game mechanics. What did Richard Knaak write? Yes I'm too lazy to google.

Sure, I'll give it a try. Piracy ahoy. I'm sure I know enough AC people to get a download of it if it hates me too. Srsly. I'm a big loser and I still don't have time for that.

I guess it makes sense since they have to be pretty well insulated anyway or you're just gonna waste money on the electricity bill. It's kind of amusing (not really) that it was down for so long, though. When Sandy rolled through here last year I never lost power for more than two hours at a time, and even that only happened twice.

He is, or was, the primary writer for most of the Blizzard games (Warcraft/Starcraft/Diablo). I have a few of the books and they're not ... bad, so much, as they're just sort of dull and personally I'm not huge on his writing style.

Ahhh that does sound like a familiar problem. I'm not too up on Blizzard as a whole, though in Exsilium Maria's made tentative besties with a WoW character. (They go swording together.) Sounds like video game books do share a common problem.

Hiiiii so. Last October I had two international houseguests back to back + my job's biggest trade show work marathon event and those legitimately knocked me severely off my RP game for a while...and then I proceeded to guilt about disappearing again at least once a week which proceeded to keep me from tagging back out of guilt which is really the stupidest thing ever for museboxing.

Anyway even though I am done and wouldn't blame you for rolling your eyes and hitting delete, hi I came back.

Hey, it's cool! Things come up, and I totally understand staring at the inbox with a sense of terrible guilt. (I may or may not be doing something similar right now, sob.) I was excited to see the tag!

I'm happy to keep going with this. Though it's pretty close to finished, so if you're interested, we could start up something new, too.

Ahh yay! I'm so pleased. And since I've broken on through to the other side, I encourage you to do so well. It's so dumb, because guilty dogging it for ages helps no one and yet.

Actually, I am 100% interested in new musebox threads once this one closes out, but one of the reasons I finally got over myself was wondering if you might be interested in having Robert visit the fourth wall event that's happening in a game I'm in. It's got kind of a lighthearted setup but I feel that can only add to the hideous awkwardness of Maria and Altaïr crossing paths with her dead boss in a positive way.

(On a related note, the player of the Altaïr there and I were talking about his and Robert's respective opinions on Maria, and she drew this. I feel that it is entirely accurate.)

Haha, I should. It was a PSL that the other person dropped, actually, but I keep wondering if I should see if they're still around. Maybe one of these days.

Oh that looks like it would be the most hilariously awkward thing on the planet, but I'm not fully confident putting Robert out on a game meme at the moment, sorry! If you're both interested in trying to figure out maybe a thread here sometime, maybe something more casual than a thread like what we're doing, I'd be game.

(That is one of the best things I've ever seen. He would absolutely have that shirt. And probably try to smother Altair with it, sometimes.)

You should totally be confident, because your Robert is basically perfect, but that's understandable! I checked and we would both be totally down for doing something here—maybe as the successor to the current thread (which I will hit up shortly). Could be good timing for that anyway since we'd probably need to break the pattern of Apple visits. As hilarious as I find the idea of Darim and Sef summoning Uncle Bobby a couple more years in the future, it's rather difficult to RP a young child's voice in a way that isn't stilted/boring.

(Yes, I believe all this 100%. As I believe Robert would, in her words, wear "a tank top over chainmail like a douchebag." )

That'd work! Just let me know when you guys want to set something up and we could throw up another plotting post/start a new thread in this one. Hah, the idea of the kids dragging him out makes me laugh. Maybe when they're teenagers? I almost did a thread like that with someone once, but it didn't go anywhere, sadly. Can you imagine the chaos of teenage Assassins + dead Templars ... and then Altaïr finds out.

(It's not a douchebag style if it's not a douchebag wearing it. On the other hand, outside the chainmail it might get torn. Decisions decisions ... )
