There was more to discuss, she could tell from the way he seemed weary from more than travel, but right now, in his arms, she couldn't bring herself to focus on that. His fingers in her hair were soothing and intoxicating and made her crave more of his touch. She had gone for far, far too long without it.

She turned her head and pressed her lips to his throat, heedless of the dirt and grime on his skin or just simply not caring about it.
