Could be both. I think game-book authors are in the unique and unenviable position of having to make a more detailed and realistic version of something most people don't take quite as seriously, which results in inconsistencies. Or just bad writing. i'm looking at you richard knaak.
I can give you some links to a comic-reader thing someone so kindly provided to me, along with downloads for the comics, but for some reason I can't get The Fall to work for me; it claims it's corrupted or just busted or something. It might work for you, though, I always get unlucky with this stuff. i see people with six characters per game and i just. gape. i can't even do more than one or two at a time how do they even keep things straight
