(I love how this conversation is partly numbered now despite having diverged entirely from RP thread ideas.)
1. I accept this as canon and will incorporate it into RP should I ever make a journal for any of the moderns. (Do you think he cried when Altaïr brought a wife home?)
2. AC has definitely kickstarted it again for me, but podcasts and a really boring summer helped. Wiki is an acceptable panacea but it is a hideous rabbit hole as well. Forget TV Tropes.
Dammit cat :T Don't be messin' with the glass dragons. I am entirely in favor of frying things, on sticks or not, with the exception of butter because that's disgusting. I'm still not sure how Coke gets fried though. Wizardry, I suspect.
Chainmail would be hardcore. My friend Brian used a particular fabric that looked sorta like links as faux chainmail but I have no idea what it was called. You could probably buy real chainmail at a renfaire but I don't even want to know what it would cost. P.S. I also saw some people dressed up in garb with the Templar cross a few times, and I kept having to fight the urge to hiss. Okay, not really, but sort of.
