AHAHA hey that's a perfectly viable option. Those artifacts do seem to do nothing but spread misery for everyone whenever they show up. Cursed or just left-over first era trolling, maybe.

I managed to miss the one class a few years ago that I could have taken specifically about the era, to my eternal bitterness, but over the years we've managed to accumulate more random books than is probably healthy around here so I can dig through and see what I can find. Robert was probably just as much a jerk back then, but as far as Maria went, I'd imagine well-intentioned jerkness.
I've got a long weekend coming up so I can probably go with any of these, whichever you'd prefer. At the moment I'm not coming up with anything off the meme, though it's been a hell of a week so that's probably more braindead than anything else.
